Downloads
AboutMyArea Franchisees will find many helpful audio and video tutorials and document templates in the Downloads section of Resource Central. Click the 'Downloads' link in the menu bar to view all the available downloads.
Forums
The AboutMyArea forum has been rebuilt from the ground up incorporating new features and improved searching. There are now five rooms for AboutMyArea Franchisees to discuss all things related to running an AboutMyArea Franchise.
The available rooms are:
- Feature Requests: Post any feature requests or suggestions.
- Marketing & Promotions: Discuss any topic related to the marketing and promoting of your AMA Franchise
- Advertising & Sales: Discuss any topic relating to creating advertising content or selling advertising on your AMA Site
- General Chit Chat: A place for general AMA Franchisee chit chat. Post non technical, marketing or sales related content here.
Blogs
Firstly if you are new to blogs and blogging please read this great overview on wikipedia. Blog posts will be only published by AboutMyArea staff. They cannot be created by AboutMyArea Franchisees. If you wish to spread some good news or ask a question please use the Forum.
The new AboutMyArea blogs will become valuable resources for announcing general news, marketing initiatives, new site features, bug fixes and maintenance reports. It is very important that you check them on a regular basis.
Currently there are two blogs posting on different topics:
- General News: General AboutMyArea news, marketing initiatives, sale tips, and advertising features.
- Site Development: Announcements regarding site development, technical tutorials bug fixes and maintenance reports.
- PR Opportunities: Journalist requests for articles and stories.
